Miscellany Monday

miscellany monday at lowercase letters

A few miscellaneous thoughts from my Monday.

I honest to goodness, HATE Mondays.
I have classes from 8am (which I have to leave for at 6:30am) until 8pm. This is totally and completely my fault, and I did NOT make good decisions this semester. Today was the worst day ever since starting nursing clinicals. My cardiac exam pretty much dominated me, but luckily I still passed, plus we can drop the lowest grade. Then my next class was just a nightmare. How many more weeks left? Or at least how many more until Spring Break?

I AM SO OVER WINTER.
I'm so sick of snow, ice, cold, my car looking like crap because of the salt, short days, and no sunshine. I'm pretty much positive that I suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder.

Revenge is the best TV show on the face of the Earth.
I probably should not have watched it at like 12am when I had a test this morning, however, I couldn't stop myself. Last night's was just crazy insane. It bothered me that my girl (Emily VanCamp) was crying so much in it though, broke my heart! I can't wait 'til next week!

In a month from now I won't have a job.
I put in my notice at Olive Garden on Saturday. My last day there is March 9th. I'm going to apply for a job as a Student Nurse Intern at a nearby hospital. I already had submitted my resume to them and they called me the next day but they said I had to be going to school full time. Next semester I will be, so I'm going to apply again.

I can't believe I'm taking a summer class.
Just registered for it today. Hopefully I will pass my classes this semester so that I can actually take it. It's only one class but it is a HARD class so I'm going to be studying my summer away.

My new favorite quote ...
To be inspired is great, to inspire is incredible.

Hope everyone had a great Monday, so happy it is over.

  1. I'm with you -- yesterday was just an UGH type of day. Here's hoping that Tuesday is much better for both of us!
